| I Do (Cherish You) |
Yesterday was my cousin's big wedding day. We arrived at her place at round 4.15pm. She looked gorgeous, very skinny tho...u cud c her bones man! i reali liked her dress. I watched her get into da specially decorated white Alfa Romeo, which my oda cousin (her brother) drove. Later dat nite i asked her if she was nervous at all and she sed da onli time she was a wee bit nervous was wen she was gettin into da car. I fink i wudve been nervous 4 da entire month b4! haha . . ok mayb not, but at least da wk of. So neway we followed da Alfa to da place which was called Eschol Park. Quite a pretty place. Wen we got there, we saw my parents' long-time-no-see frends, Wilson and Gladys. They were talkin bout how much their daughter has changed from lookin at da fotos cuz she didnt actuali go to da wedding. Then Wilson took a foto of me and Gladys cuz they wanted to show their daughter. Then my mum was talkin to another one of our rellies and he was askin if i had a bf and wen will it b my turn to get married blah blah and my mum's like "of course she does" and sumfing about how there r so many guys or sumfing. Well i hav nfi wat her aim was but nehoo...so then we watched on as da I Do ceremony progressed. It was outdoors, like da ones u see in da movies how da bride n groom stand in front of this gazebo type thing. Yeh, it was all romantic...hehe~
Afta da ceremony, we went inside for our meals. Oh man, we sat on this table with 3 oda kids (2 of which were my cousin's new husbands' kids from his previous marriage and hence r now my step-2nd cousins?) neway, da younger one, i swear he either had ADHD, ADD or was skitzo (no offence to him) cuz he wud NOT shut up and so my brother got pissed off and told him off and he jst started to cry, it was scary stuff man. Nehoo, apart from dat lil drama da food wasnt bad. Entree was sum pasta thing, a cross between tortellini and raviolli with sum mashed sweet potato inside, main was sum steak thing with potato but i cudnt bite it so i swapped wit my sis who had salmon on this mashed potato which was green! not bad tho. Then dessert i had profiteroles (dont ask me how u spell dat word). Very fattening but nonetheless quite nice. Afta da food, ppl started dancing n shit, sum of which looked quite frightening. Then it was time 4 da best man's toast and da groom made a speech as well. They even had a, wat do u call dat thing, bride n groom waltz or sumfing? yeh dat thing where jst da bride n groom r on da dance floor strutting their stuff. Overall it was a pretty gud nite, tho my bro wudnt fink so cuz he fell asleep at one stage and i showed my cousin (i.e. da brother of my cousin who was gettin married - u confused yet?!) and he told me to take a foto so i did. Cant wait to get dat one developed!
Well, jst like to say congrats to my cousin and i hope she and her new husband (now my cousin-in-law???) hav a wonderful future together.
NEWAY, i reali shud get goin wit my damn critical analysis assign.
