| First day @ work |
So yday was my first day at work. I was quite exhausted wen i got home so i didnt hav da energy to write an entry in my blog. So yeh, i started at 11am. I entered thru da staff entrance (yes myer city r strict about this) and made my way up to personnel to get my stuff organised. It was jst my luck tho. Da guy at personnel was new at his job. He got sum1 from my dept to get me and show me around etc and to come bak up in 30mins so another guy who knew his job could help me. Neway, i fink da first person to come up to get me was called abby, she was cool. She intro-ed me to most of da team. I met barbara, who was one of our merchandisers or sumfing quite important like dat. She showed me around, told me about all da brands (man there r soooooo many!) She showed me da fitting room and intro-ed me to da ppl in there. Then i went bak up to personnel to find dat da new guy was still there and he was still waiting 4 da oda guy so i had to come bak up in ANOTHER 15 mins! so i went bak down, told barbs and she got me to follow layla 4 a while and she took me to da fitting rooms again and wen she tried intro-ing me again, da girls were like "where hav u been layla?" it was quite funni. Afta a while longer, i went bak up and FINALLY da oda guy was there. I got my swipe card etc and da guy called 4 another chik to come get me, Katie. OMG, katie is so cool, she makes me larf. So neway, wen we went bak downstairs, she tried intro-ing me to da girls again and maggie goes "yeh ive met jess like twice b4"...man it was quite funni. Yeh me, katie and michelle were muckin round in da spare clothes room. Man, katie and michelle r like a comedic pair i tell ya, they seriously CRACK me up!
Afta all dat intro stuff, i finally got down to business and did sum work on the floor and in da fitting rooms. While i was on da floor (as in where all da clothes r), katriya was tellin me dat if i eva wanted to hide away from da customers to go behind these big shelf thingys and then goes "man i shudnt be tellin u this aye?!"...da girls r so cool man, i felt so welcomed. So afta a while, i went to help out in da fitting room wit marie. Man da line 4 da room was like continuous and ppl tried on soooooo many clothes. Wen they finish, they jst dump it to us and we gt put em all bak on da hangers and hang em up on da rails but still its kinda fun wen u can still socialise wit da ppl in there. Wen marie took her break, katie and maggie came in to help me and we continued havin fun...
But i soon had to go cuz my shift ended at 4pm. It was so cool meeting all these awesome girls, theyre all so friendly. Can u believe im actuali lookin 4ward to work a tiny lil bit?! lol
