| Too Many Bad Incidents Lately |
Sometimes i think that this world is about to shut down any minute. TOO many bad things are jst occurring. I know helen disagrees with me about this and says that bad things hav been happening for centuries, but it seriously jst feels like its all been magnified and multiplied. Like on a larger scale theres all the terrorism, natural disasters etc that are jst killing hundreds and thousands of innocent people. Then on a smaller scale, there seemed to be more deaths of people i kno or kno of. People's relatives, my own relatives, people's frends, even my very own frend! Then so many people hav broken up wit their bfs/gfs this yr or are at least havin probs (hope ur feeling better soon helen!). I had a frend from work that jst broke up wit her bf on sat and i saw her at work on sun and i went ova to ask how she was and she instantly started crying. I felt so bad for stirring her up again but u kno me, i cant help but be concerned. But every time someone went up to jst stroke her arm to ask how she was, she wud start crying again. You jst felt so horrible for her i swear. But yeh, sooooo many bad shit has been happening lately it aint even funny.
Guess wat? My mum jst got off the fone and theres been yet another death. My mum's frend's husband!!! WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!?!?! Its like the world is gone all grey and gloomy. Havent heard of any good news in soooo long now. So depressing...

I would have agreed with your perspective a while back, but I tend to agree with Helen on this now. Shit happens all the time, and it's just a matter of time before it happens to us and people around us too. Bad things happen throughout history, but they just take different forms - sorta in keeping with the times.
Even though it's hard to get through the bad, without the bad, you won't notice how good the good is. And when you hit rock bottom, the only way is up. Conversely, when you're at the top, the only way is down. That's just the way things are - just like seasons cycle.
