Easter Thoughts
[If u dont wana read abt Christian stuff, skip this bit]
Went to church yesterday as per usual and i swear every time i hav a query/question that im thinking abt relating to God or Jesus etc, it always somehow gets answered in the sermon. I cant get over how freaky that is (and for me jst makes me believe in God even more). Oh has anyone seen The Passion of the Christ? Man the friggin torture they put Jesus thru is so graphic-ised. Theres a scene where there were literally puddles of blood from the torture. U could full see his ribcage cos a flesh of meat got ripped off. Like seriously, it would've bn less painful to jst kill him. Thank you Jesus for going thru all that pain and dying for us even tho we def didnt deserve it.

And u know wat i dont get? How Christmas and Easter became a global holiday when half the worlds population arent even Christians or believe in God/Jesus, and wouldnt even know/care what the meaning of the holiday is. Talk abt hypocrisy!

I love hearing stories abt how couples get together. A friend from church was telling us that her now bf, asked her to go for a walk and was full telling her stuff like "I want to ask this girl out..." and he jst went thru this whole list. She eventually figured it was her cos of something that could only mean her (something to do with squash) and then he full goes "so do u think she'd wana go out with me?" OMG isnt that the cutest thing ever??? And after a couple of months of dating she discovered that he full had this list at home on wat he wouldve done if she rejected him including ways he wouldve changed the subject or something. Have u ever heard of a guy being THAT organised?? LMAO. Its cute tho. Im so jealous. I bet i will hav a boring story (assuming i will ever get a guy).

yeh i watched it wen it aired Good Friday...omg i HATED the bit where he was carrying the cross too. I was like, omg is it really necessary to constantly beat him up..he is abt to be nailed on the cross for fucks sake! (excuse language)

oh and my question was prob silly but my bro asked me wat the ending of the movie meant (he doesnt kno the bible clearly) and i told him that Jesus was rising from the dead and he asked me why and i fully didnt know how to answer him. I jst said sumfing along the lines of jst showing that he was God's son but then we talked abt it in church and also i asked it in bible study and i guess the answer was within me but i jst never thought abt it (it was part of him taking our sins away plus some other reasons here n there...feel free to add..lol)

Anyway yeah, it showed he was the Son of God.. and that he had the power to conquer death... and if we believe we will conquer death too... (yay!)
